Bed Time

Our attempt to keep Madi awake a bit longer to try to get her to sleep between the hours of 12-4, however it was unsuccessful so were on Plan B tonight! haha

Knick-Knack Story

This has a story behind it...

I went to thrift stores and I saw this in one.  I actually thought to myself, "I wish I knew someone whose name started with an M!" hahahaha, but I caught on eventually and went back to get it! :-D

I hope Madi doesn't get my Blonde!  haha

But it is super cute!

2 Month Check-Up

So we took Madi to the Dr.'s today, she got three shots and then an oral something or other.  Poor baby is sore :-(!  But healthy.

She weighs 10 lbs 5 oz she's in the 50th percentile for her age.

She always is 22 inches long which is also in the 50th percentile.

However, they did not tell us what percentile her head circumference is, and knowing her how big her Daddy's head is (haha) I'm sure it's in the higher percentile! haha

And TODAY Madi is two months old, so it was picture day!  She had just gotten shots, so she was not a happy camper... This is Daddy trying to calm her down.

Uncle Jason

So Jason finally got to hold Madi, he met her briefly a few weeks ago, but he got to spend time with her this time!  

 

Crib Time!

So Madi was not sleeping all that great in her bassinet, so I decided to try out the crib.  The first night she cried for about ten minutes but then was out.  After that the past couple nights have been so EASY!  She goes right to sleep and sleeps 4 hours almost 5 :-)  It's great!  I can't believe she TOLD me when she was ready pretty much!  Let's hope she keeps up the good sleep, because her momma LOVES it!  

She loved her mobile too <3

Attempt at Play Time

So Madi tried out her little play mat!  She will get more into I'm sure when she gets older :-P

Here is one of Madi sitting up tall with grandma :-P  It was super cute and it got her to stop crying for like 2 minutes!

I don't think Daniel is ever gonna stay with Madi again, all he could say was does she EVER stop crying lol

And she got her first bath in a bathtub!  She wouldn't let go of her seat, I had to call my mom in to get her out of it! haha

And then the best thing, she held her head up!  She held it up for a good 3-5 minutes!  It was exciting!

We enjoyed our vacation :-)

Alyse's Photo Session

So Alyse LOVES Madi, I mean who couldn't?  haha!

I'm glad she has some cousins to play with!  Alyse jokes that she will introduce Madi to Clairs, like I did to her :-P  Alyse and Madi are around the same age difference I was with Alyse, I think that is neat!

So she took over my camera and had a Madi Photo session, since its a wonderful past time!

She's getting so big!

Just took a couple of pictures of Madi this past week that show how big she is getting!

This one, you can see her head is filling up the head rest, I can't believe it!
