Short Raleigh Trip

So we went to Raleigh for a couple days to let Madi meet some of her family.

Get ready for a LONG post, full of pics!

First, she had lunch at Micky D's :-P and she decided she could do it one handed!

 Then we went to Great-Grandpa's house and he got to meet Madi for the first time.  She loved him! :-)

I loved taking pictures through the plant, Yes I know I am weird, but they turned out neat!

Then we went to Uncle Keith & Aunt Dea's house!  Where she met her "Great" Aunt & Uncle, and cousin! 

Then went to  wing night at Sparks; however, she told us she'd stick to her milk!

 Madi LOVED meeting her family :-)

It was a great trip, now we are going up to Dea & Keith's NEW lake house in Bracey, VA because this lovely Irene is running us west. 

Pray all our houses and in our case, husband & father, are safe back at home.

One Month Old

So today I added a rocking chair picture to the Month to Month page.

She is getting more focus in her eyes, she followed the camera around!

Madi's Papers

So when we got home today we got Madi's first mail addressed to her

and we got her birth certificate :-)

Today were off to see Billy's Grandma and then to the Island to see his Mom for his Mom's birthday on the 15th!

Bath Time!

Madi's cord fell off yesterday, so she got her first bath last night!  She was very indifferent, I think the only thing she really disliked was being nakie and cold.  

It was exciting for me, not so much for her... isn't she in for a rough life with such tragic experiences :-)

Aunt Angie's Visit!

So Miss Angie is here for a WHOLE week :-)  We are having loads of fun, even though we are kind of just chilling around the house!  Between me and Angie we will have 239432 tons of pictures, here's a few of my favorites!

After 16 hours of active labor (ugh for mommy, but worth it :-) 

Madi was born on July 16, 2011 at 10:45 AM.

She was 7lbs 4oz and 20 inches long.
